We have refurbished the interiors of an authentic villa to match the existing surroundings. The slate roofs are made of locally found stone called “Pataal” and big chunks of stone make up the thick walls of the 02 rooms thus keeping the home warm in winter and cool during summer. The serene, simple, and comforting interiors soak your soul deeper into the silence and solace giving you reasons to forget the stressful life and embrace a new and rejuvenated self.?

The bigger suite room is located on the first level of the house and has an en suite bath and toilet. while the smaller room is a converted goat room, with a low ceiling height, which is usually found on the lower level of a mountain home. The ground floor room while being smaller in size is much cozier and has a private bath/toilet outside of the room. Each room has its own private entrance and both rooms overlook the majestic Himalayan peaks such as Nanda Devi and Trishul in the distance.

When you book with us, you will have the entire place to yourself. Our cook/caretaker will leave no stone unturned to make sure you have a great time.

Accommodation:
* This place is offered exclusively to only one group at a time, the price varies depending on the number of guests. Please select the exact number of guests while booking.
* Rooms are offered on double occupancy up until 04 guests and other rooms are locked. We will offer extra beds in the bigger Suite Room if you are in a group of more than 04 guests.
* The smaller room on the lower level has a low ceiling height of about 7 ft.
* The suite room has an ensuite washroom while the smaller room has a private washroom that is outside of the room.
* Please note that like any other home in the mountains, we do not have an air conditioner at the property. The thick stone walls keep the place warm in winter and cool in summer.?

The Weather:
* The temperature is similar to that of Almora, only a little lower since we are surrounded by lush greenery.

Our properties are all about peace and tranquility. A place where you can let go of everything and spend time doing nothing at all. Laze around on the hammock, read a book, or gaze endlessly at the snow-covered peaks in the distance. Hike up to the hilltop to watch the most blissful sunset and get a 180-degree view of the surroundings. Explore the nearby villages and an old British bungalow on foot.

If you’d like to head out, you can drive down to the famous Dol Ashram or to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary for a jungle safari, Kasar Devi for the views and cafes, and Almora town for the local sweet dish called “Baal Mithai”.
